Value of homes in Portugal fell to twice in Spain

The value of homes in Portugal recorded a sharp drop from 6.3% in the last quarter of 2008, the index is calculated by the Financial Times.

The decline registered in our country is above the 4.8% recorded in the euro area average and is almost twice the drop of 3.2% in Spain.

The largest falls fit to Britain. In Ireland the value of homes declined 9.6% and the UK 9%. Com uma descida superior à de Portugal conta-se ainda a Noruega (-7,5%). With a decline than in Portugal, it is still Norway (-7.5%).

In the list, notice is only five increases in the average price of property: Slovakia (6.4%), Cyprus (4.6%), Slovenia (4.1%), Switzerland (3.7%) and Germany (2 , 4%).
